India and Japan signed the agreement on rare earth cooperation



Japanese media said on 28th August, Japan next week will sign an agreement with India, imported about 2000 tons of rare earth from India, in order to strengthen the channels of diversified import rare earths.

Reports said India will export about 2000 tons to 2300 tons of rare earth, equivalent to about 15% of Japanese enterprises annual usage. As early as February next year, India will export the rare earth to japan. Reports also said, Japan has signed agreement with Vietnam, Kazakhstan on a joint development of rare earth resources in the future.

India's prime minister Modi will visit Japan between August 30th and September 3 rd.

Where to Find & Mine Diamonds

When it comes to finding or mining diamonds, there is very little good information available. Geologists who search the world over for new diamond bearing kimberlite deposits are very guarded about what they know. It's all a secret. The majority of placer miners (those who do their mining in gravels and sands) are economically disadvantaged. Africa comes to mind. These miners don't have much planning or purpose in what they do. They simply go to a beach, river or stream where someone has already found a stone or two, and start digging and panning.
If you apply a little thought and perseverance, you will quickly figure out where pockets of placer diamonds are.

Actually, these precious stones have already been found in our nations rivers and streams. Gold Beneficiation Overview

According the structure of mineral status of gold, the gold mineral can be divided into three categories, the gold mineral gold deposits, gold-bearing minerals and gold minerals contained. The so-called independent gold mineral, refers to gold and gold-bearing minerals in the form of the mineral output of gold, it is the nature of the most important occurrence in the form of gold, the main target of industrial development and utilization.

The current mainstream technology for gold beneficiation, usually by crushing by crusher, then grinding by ball mill, and get the concentrate or tailing by gravity concentrate plant or flotation concentrate plant, finally through chemical method and smelting to get the product gold.

The first part is crushing and grinding, most use jaw crusher to crushing the raw ore, or use cone crusher to get small size ore, most of small or middle plant will choose 2 crushing parts rule as more crusher less grinding to get fine particle size. The second part is gravity concentrate plant, the gravity beneficiation concentrate according different density of different minerals, it’s the main important method for gold recovery. Most equipment as sluice, shaking table, jig separator and centrifugal concentrator etc. The third part is flotation concentrate plant. In China there is more than 80% gold beneficiation plant choose the flotation machine to recover gold. The product after flotation will deliver to smelting factory process. Except those method, also have mixing mercury, cyanide, leaching and melting. The composition of galena is PbS with its good floatability and specific gravity of 7.4-7.6. So the beneficiation of galena lead ore is froth flotation separation and gravity separation. Flotation separation makes use of its floatability to get high grade galena concentrate. Flotation beneficiation processing can help to get high enrichment efficiency, but it requires much about the operator with its high plant investment and high operation cost. However, flotation separation can be unfriendly to environment and it has been limited by government, and it will be taken place by gravity separation. Gravity separation has a low requirement about the operator with its small plant investment, and low operation cost. With reasonable plant allocation, the beneficiation efficiency of gravity separation is even better than flotation separation. So galena lead ore gravity upgrading will be the leading beneficiation method instead of flotation separation.
Galena gravity upgrading works greatly to gain high grade galena lead concentrate on basis of big specific gravity difference between galena and its gangue. The crude galena is crushed and screened to make the galena granules liberated from its gangue. Kind of gravity separators like jigging machine can be used to purify the galena to get galena concentrate and tailings. Machines like crushers, rod mills, jig separator, shaking tables can be involved in galena gravity processing flow sheet. The simple crushing breaks the big blocks into small ones while rod mill, as kind of milling equipment, is used to mill the crushed output to be fine of -5mm without any extensive-milling. Galena lead jig machine can be involved to enrich the milled galena to get the final concentrate and tailings. There shall be some fine granules in the tailings from jigger, so a shaking table can be used to recover the galena in the tailings to improve the recovery.

Construction of Rotary Scrubber



The Rotary Scrubber is constructed of screen material. This allows the smaller gravel and fines to fall through to a sluice or other processing system,while the bigger rocks will move through the drum and be discharged out the back. The ideal screen size willvary depending on the coarseness of gold found in the area ,If the trommel system is working properly ,all of the fine material will drop  through the screens to be processed, and the larger gravels and rocks will discharge out of the black, completely rinsed and without holding onto any dirt or gravel.

Rotary Scrubber are quite simple to build and work excellent when they are constructed properly. The material come in all different sizes from the small units that can be used efficiently by one or two prospectors using shovels all the way up to huge commercial mining operations feeding them with loaders.

The Rotary Scrubber itself does not separate out the gold. it is simply used to help separate and classify material for the further process. On large operations ,the trommel is generally incorporated into an entire wash plant setup so that the smaller material that drops through the trommel is run through simple sluice system to capture the heaviest materials and discharge the lighter sands.

Recovering the gold that has been processed is the same as for any other sluice box . collect the concentrates and use some type of fine gold recovery system to complete the final process and separate the gold.

The beneficiation of the scheelite

The mineral scheelite ore beneficiation according different characteristics can be use gravity beneficiation combine with gold flotation plant to concentrate, or only handle by flotation machine plant. And some individual scheelite ore can be recover by pre-enrichment plant, such as the King island scheelite ore in Australia, they use of ultraviolet fluorescence sorter elect 50% of the waste rock from the ore, and its recovery rate is below grade concentrator tailings discharged, the scheelite recovery rate up more than 90~96%, the equipments concentrate capacity around 35~40t/h.

The scheelite has good floatability, due to the presence in the ore and more similar to their nature calcium gangue minerals, such as calcite, fluorite, apatite and lead to complications such as flotation process. To improve the selectivity of the flotation process, the polyvalent metal salt (such as ferrous sulfate) was added to water glass, can significantly improve the flotation of scheelite.


In our country, there is less scheelite ore mine area, most of is tungsten, especially in our city, there are so many mine area concentrate the tungsten. Sluice box is used to recover the tailings from centrifugal concentrator, to catch the gold from the mixed slurry.

The sluice box is put on the ground, with a angle of 10-15 degree. The end of feeding is on higher level than the outlet end. When the mine slurry flush rush down from the centrifuge tailing outlet, with the force of water flushing and gravity, only the heavy density particles with stay in the sluice box, like gold and some other metal, the sand, soil will flushing away to the tailing.


Then you take out the carpet of sluice box; wash the gold sand from the carpet in a big basin or other container, save the gold sand after you washed. Then put the gold sand into shaking table, shaking table will make further concentration of the gold. The sluice box carpet should wash around every 5-6 hours.

Zimbabwe gold production fall by 8%

Gold production in Zimbabwe fell by 8% during the five months of May compared to the same period in 2013, according to figures provided by the Chamber of Mines of the country.

Gold mined during the period was 5,517 kg from 6,022 kg produced in five months to May last year.

The Chamber of Mines figures show that in four months to April this year, gold accounted for about one third of the total value of minerals produced.

Output last year was 14 tons, down 4.49% to a value of about 626.11 million dollars.


Gold remains the mainstay of mining production in the country and Zimbabwe plans to become one of the top five gold producing countries in Africa.

The Zimbabwean government intends to reorganize the gold sector and legalize operations gold diggers.

Zimbabwe has over 20,000 gold miners whose production represented so greatly to the country's gold production.

Chamber of Mines of Zimbabwe also said gold production could reach 50 tons in the next five years.

There are magnetic iron ore like magnetite and weak magnetic iron ore like liminite, hematite, specularite, and for these two kinds of different iron ore, different upgrading way will be involved. For manganetic iron ore, magnetic separator is prior to be considered to get the high grade iron concentrate. But if magnetic separation is still used for the weak magnetic iron beneficiation, a large plant investment will be needed because it needs strong intensity Iron ore magnetic separator to work. However, here gravity separation can also work for the weak magnetic iron ore. So when the gravity separation can be used? Firstly, the inlay size of iron granules shall be coarse with clear bounds with the other gangue, and crushing can dissociate the iron grain from the raw gangue. Second, there shall be density difference between the iron granules and the other inlayed gangue. On both conditions, the iron ore can be upgrading by gravity separation machine. Here the iron jig machine has been introduced as the ideal separation gravity separation for weak magnetic iron ore. Test can be done if samples about 15kg can be available.

Recently one of our customer from Iran want to build a gravity Centrifugal gold concentrator plant for the lead and copper. The customer has 2 mine area, all of them is the rock ore. The first one is rock lead ore, the analysis report shows the lead ore with 3.2% lead and 27g/t silver grade. And the other copper ore with 8.54% copper, 32g/t silver. These 2 mine area is rich of lead and copper. The customer want to choose the gravity concentrate plant, caused the gravity plant is more environmental friendly plant than flotation concentrate plant.

As their purpose, they want to get the lead at least up grade to 20% copper concentrate,  50% lead concentrate and get silver concentrate from the tailings. As our engineers experience is just a few difficult to up the grade concentrate. According this situation our engineers talked so much and finally have a plant design flowchart drawing. We configurated the plant including crushing part, grinding part, classifier part and concentrate part. For the plant design our engineers discussion, the gravity plant calculate get the concentrate lead around 25-40%, and the copper concentrate about 18%. The plant including use coarse jaw crusher, fine jaw crusher, ball mill, spiral classifier and shaking table. Use the ball mill can get the fine particle size less than 0.074mm, and the shaking table use the fine deck to get the concentrate lead and copper.


Our customer is interest in our plant, and they will have a factory visit. Before the order, they also need get more information from our factory, especially in gravity plant concentrate, our factory have many years in this field, so we can do the best for our customer. Jiangxi Shicheng Mine Machinery Factory is producing a new type of the equipment called Pulsating sluice box. It's used for concentrating the very fine gold and flake gold. It can increase 10% gold grade than the traditional sluice.
To compare the traditional sluice and Pulsating sluice box, traditional sluice is with good recovery rate for the big size gold as the volumn and gravity is bigger than the buoyancy of water, so the big particle will go down. But when the gold is very fine or in flake, it will be difficult to be down.

It's difficult for the traditional sluice to slow the water speed, cuz if the fluidization of water is lower, the slurry will be easily deposited in the carpet. So most of the normal sluice is built in a big slope, so the water speed is fast. The fluctuate is with vibrating function, so the clay will not be deposited. And it's no need to build in a big slope, so the water speed can be lower so that the fine gold and flake gold will go down easily.And it's with good concentrating in the gold tailings.

A placer gold plant flowchart for one of customer from Africa


These days, we just signed a customer whom from Africa for the placer gold concentrate. The customer from south of Africa country. They are starting a project for more than 50 acres placer gold near a river. They just want to find a factory that can supply to them a placer gold concentrate plant for 20-30t/h capacity.

In early days, they found more than 5 factories in China b2b web page, our factory is on the list. And for get more information from those factories, they made a plan for a visiting in China, after a week study in China, finally according to compare with others suppliers in experiences, manufacture, professional and quotation, they choose our factory as their supplier. Our factory manufacture the gold concentrate plant many years, and our engineers designed a flowchart for them, the plant design that you can see from the attached picture. It’s a small capacity about 20-25t/h, just for a test plant. So don’t need takes so much budget, we design the plant according their raw gold ore, it’s with sticky clay, so our engineer configurated a trommel scrubber for them, the trommel scrubber is the best one to washing the raw ore clean the clay, and screen mesh part separate the big gravel waste. After the clean work, the size -3mm will go to the centrifuge concentrator to concentrate the gold, the concentrate goes to shaking table concentrate again to get the best quality gold. The tailings from the centrifuge concentrator and shaking table goes to the sluice box to concentrate again in order to get few of miss gold. The waste is tailings.


This plant is design as their raw ore, to keep the gold ore clean and concentrate equipment to recover the concentrate gold. Most of alluvial gold ore just need clean, screen and concentrate. The design is normal as than others customers. Our trommel scrubber made by high quality, the materials is best, the screen mesh for better working life, we made it by polyurethane. Coltan concentrating machine ready to deliver



The machine is ready to delivery to our customer from Nigeria, who is using it to beneficiate the tin and columbite.

This dry magnetic belt separator is an electrical, magnetic intensity adjustable, high intensity magnetic separator. The magnetic intensity could reach as high as 20000 Gauss. With four coils, each coil’s intensity could be adjusted; three separating pan, which could separate four kinds of mineral with different magnetic intensity.

This machine is designed for tungsten, tin, coltan/columbite, real earth, ilmenite beneficiation, which could get a concentrate rate as high as 65%.  It’s the best machine for this kind of weak magnetic intensity minerals refining.


The feeding size of this machine is 2mm, and the best input capacity is around 300kg per hour.


New dry magnetic separator for limenite concentration



This dry magnetic separator is special designed for separating the ilmenite from the diamond ore. It consists of hopper, high intensity magnetic drum, belt with driving motor, distribution hopper.

The customer needs a machine which could separate the ilmenite in the diamond concentrate from the jig separator. The ilmenite is around 30 to 40 percent, and the size is around 10mm to 15mm. The concentrate is already dried, which means a dry process would be better.

Because the main purpose is to separate upgrading the diamond, in order to achieve a high separating result, we use one high intensity magnet to concentrate the ilmenite and other magnetic minerals; instead of using two magnet to get a high grade ilmenite concentrate.

The max feeding size of this magnetic separator is 15mm, which means we could feed the ore directly without crushing it. Because it’s a diamond ore, we could not crush it in case breaking the diamond into small pieces.


The disadvantage of this machine is this machine could not be connected with the jig separator, to form a auto continuous processing flow. Because it’s a dry process, and the jig separator is working under wet process.
