Pro Summer League's official uniform supplier, has spoken with individual teams
about adding a short-sleeve shirt as an alternate jersey.
The Orlando Magic and several other teams playing in the Orlando
Pro Summer League this week at Amway Center are trying out
short-sleeve jerseys, wearing them instead of a traditional tank top.
"Maybe some of the young guys like it because it's a
little tight and shows their muscles a little bit," Utah Jazz assistant
coach Sidney Lowe joked. "I thought it looked good, though."
Last season, the Golden State Warriors wore a short-sleeve
jersey for several regular-season contests after the All-Star Game.
But do the players like them?
"They're cool," Magic center Kyle O'Quinn said.
"They feel like a T-shirt. When they get wet, they start feeling like a
napkin. But they're all right."
